PINELLAS PARK – Ferrellgas, one of the nation’s premiere fuel providers of LP, hosted a grand reopening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony May 16 at its newly renovated offices and facility at 9000 66th St. N.
The event featured music, food, and raffles for prizes. Additionally, several U.S. manufacturers of propane-powered appliances and equipment attended the event. Participating manufacturers included Everglades Farm Equipment of Largo, Choo Choo Lawn Equipment of Tampa Bay, Tempaco Co. of Largo and Yellow Cab of Pinellas.
With this grand reopening, Ferrellgas has rededicated itself to the Pinellas Park community as well as Tampa Bay in general. The service center, in existence since the 1970s, will headquarter the management team for Central and North Florida. The director of operations for the region, logistics manager, operations manager for Tampa Bay, and the regional customer service manager will operate out of the Pinellas Park facility.
