Pair rob man during home invasion incident
PINELLAS PARK – Two men, one armed with a silver revolver, robbed a city man May 20 and escaped with an undetermined amount of property.

Police officials said the victim, who was not identified, was confronted by the pair at the front door of his residence in the 3600 block of 105th Avenue. Police said the suspects forced the victim inside the home and made him lie on the floor. Police said one of the robbers took an undetermined amount of property from the bedroom while the other held the victim at gunpoint. Rhe pair then fled. It was not known if they escaped in a vehicle. Police described the robbers as white males, about 5 feet 10 inches with medium builds.

Homeless man charged with auto burglary, other counts
PINELLAS PARK – A homeless man on May 17 was arrested for allegedly attempting to break into cars parked in an elementary school parking lot. Lance Lyann, 41, no address, was charged with burglary, trespassing on school grounds, loitering and prowling. He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $5,250 bail. Officer Jimmy Rexroad said the suspect entered the parking lot of Pinellas Park Elementary School and attempted to open the doors of parked cars. The suspect then walked to Big 3 Tires at 5317 Park Blvd. where he allegedly entered a car. Police said the suspect had a large quantity of coins that were believed to have been stolen from cars.

Canine tracks down burglary suspect after vehicle theft
PINELLAS PARK – A city man was arrested May 16 after he allegedly broke into a car and tried to escape with his booty. Charged with burglary is Carl E. Davis, 33, of Pinellas Park. Officer Noble Katzer said Davis allegedly broke into a vehicle in the 4900 block of 94th Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. and took a tile cutter, cordless vacuum, flashlight, cordless reciprocating saw and other items. Police said the suspect later was spotted by an officer as he walked down a road. He allegedly dropped a bag containing the stolen items and fled on foot. The suspect was tracked down by a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office K-9 dog. Police said further investigation revealed that the suspect may have broken into a second vehicle. A saw and other items were reported missing, police said.

Woman arrested after standing on her head
PINELLAS PARK – A woman was arrested May 14 after police said she tipped over and came to rest standing on her feet, but with her head on the ground. Charged with trespassing at the Target store at Shoppes at Park Place Mall on U.S. 19 was Jill Ann Currier, 30, of Pinellas Park. Officer Shannon Rozzi said police responded to the store to investigate a report of a woman passed out on a bench. Police said the suspect began walking away when police arrived. She then dropped her bags and tipped over. Police said she came to rest standing with her head on the ground and her buttocks in the air. Police said she remained in that position, telling officers that she was resting.
