PINELLAS PARK – Pinellas Park police are looking for a wanted in connection with the robbery of the Fifth Third Bank at 7770 66th St. N. around noon on Sept. 15.
Initial reports indicate that a white man, between 25 and 35 years of age, entered the bank wearing a white ski mask and armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money from a teller and, after receiving it, he left the area, headed south.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery. Officers responded to the location at 12:26 p.m.
The suspect was said to be between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium build.
He was seen wearing a red and tan baseball hat with red bill and insignia, dark sunglasses, a white balaclava ski mask, an off-white long-sleeve shirt with black stripe on front and back, khaki beige shorts and white tennis shoes. He was carrying a black or dark blue backpack.
