PINELLAS PARK – A 21-year-old man was arrested for a hit and run on the afternoon of Oct. 3, Pinellas Park police reported.
Jorge Ramirez of St. Petersburg, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, violation of probation and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Police responded to the 4500 block of Park Boulevard, the scene of the crash, at 4:41 p.m. They found and arrested Ramirez after an investigation.
Police said that Ramirez allegedly caused a rear-end collision and then fled the scene. At the time of the crash, his license was suspended. The injuries to the other driver are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
Ramirez was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
