Vendors needed for flea market PINELLAS PARK – The Pinellas Park Boys & Girls Club will accepting vendors for an indoor flea market and craft show on Saturday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 7790 61st St. N. Ten-by-ten-foot spaces cost $25 inside, or $10 outside. Each family or vendor may reserve up to three spaces. No food vendors will be accepted. The event will include participant raffles. Free clinics offered to Pinellas Park residents LEALMAN – Ask a Nurse Wellness Clinics, held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4364, are available free to Pinellas Park residents. The clinics now are offered on second and fourth Saturdays, 3 to 5 p.m., at the post, 5773 62nd St. N., St. Petersburg. The clinics coincide with the VFW Burn Your Own Steak dinner, 4 to 7 p.m., which also is open to the public. The cost for the dinner is $10. A Palm Staffing, based in Palm Harbor, provides the clinic. Consult with a nurse for blood pressure checks, medication questions, diabetes information and dietary concerns. Wound care is offered, along with mini health evaluations that can be shared with your doctor. Lab work can be done on-site with doctor’s orders.
Mission offers supplies for food gardens PINELLAS PARK – The Suncoast Haven of Rest Rescue Mission is starting a new program to encourage food gardening. Participants can attend a free class on how to grow your own food, taught by a master gardener from the Pinellas County Extension Service. Classes will be held twice on Mondays, noon to 1:30 p.m., and from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the mission, 5625 Park Blvd. To register, call 545-8282.

Free breakfasts offered PINELLAS PARK – The Suncoast Haven of Rest Rescue Mission, at 5625 Park Blvd., now provides a free breakfast to all those in need in Pinellas County, Monday through Friday. Initially, the breakfast will be served from 7 to 8:30 a.m., but times likely will be extended depending on the number of those who respond. Patrons of the mission also are invited to take showers, get clean, donated clothes, make phone calls, receive their mail and pick up a bag lunch meal to eat later in the day.
