Armored car guard arrested PINELLAS PARK – A Clearwater woman who worked for an armored car service as a driver and guard was arrested on Oct. 29 after she allegedly admitted to stealing cash from money bags she had picked up. Shondala M. Oaks, 32, was charged with felony grand theft. She was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting $5,000 bail.
Police said Oaks worked for Dunbar Armored Car Service of Clearwater as a driver and guard. She allegedly admitted to police that she poked holes into money bags picked up at businesses and stealing a total of approximately $2,000 in cash. Police said Oaks needed money because she received an eviction notice for being short on her rent.
Gulfport woman arrested PINELLAS PARK – A Gulfport woman on Oct. 24 was arrested after she was stopped for driving her truck without lights. April M. Decicco, 29, was charged with possession of klonopin, methadone, clonezapam, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, controlled substances and DUI. She was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting $11,650 bail. Police said Sgt. Tina Trey was in the 9600 block of 66th Street at about 2 a.m. when she spotted Decicco driving her 1995 Dodge pick-up without lights. After being pulled over the suspect, police said, was arrested for being under the influence. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in locating a wooden box on the passenger side floor that contained drug paraphernalia. An unmarked bottle containing various pills also was allegedly discovered in the center console.
Woman arrested for DUI PINELLAS PARK – A Pinellas Park women was arrested on Oct. 25 after a traffic accident. Kemberley D. Pask, 49, was charged with DUI. She was released from the Pinellas County Jail in her own recognizance. Police said Pask was driving her 2005 Chrysler convertible at about 12:25 p.m. when she crashed into the rear of a stopped 1991 Toyota pick-up truck operated by Michael T. Waterson, also of Pinellas Park. Police said a subsequent investigation resulted in the DUI charge.
Man arrested after traffic stop PINELLAS PARK – A St. Petersburg man was arrested on Oct. 29 after he was stopped for a traffic violation. Michael J. Flanagan, 21, was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, possession of cocaine and violation of parole on a previous DUI charge. He was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting $7,250 bail. Police said the suspect was originally stopped for driving a car with an unassigned license plate. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a plastic bag with cocaine.
