Pazza Bistro, a new casual, family-friendly Italian Restaurant at The Shoppes at Park Place, held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 30.
PINELLAS PARK – Pazza Bistro brings fresh, casual, Italian food to Pinellas Park. Located on the corner of U.S. 19 and Park Boulevard, Pazza Bistro offers homemade pasta, brick oven pizza and fresh salads.
Previously located near University of Florida in Gainesville, partners Mark and Tisna Perotti wanted to bring this modern, Italian-style restaurant into this family friendly environment.
“Our new location in the St. Petersburg/Pinellas Park area is the perfect spot for an evening of fun. We are located directly next to the Regal Park Cinema, so the restaurant is the ideal venue for ‘date night’ or ‘family movie night.’ We are a magical fit for The Shoppes at Park Place,” said Perotti.
Guests can choose from four homemade pastas (including whole wheat) or two dry pastas (including a gluten free option). All the sauces are made on-site, as is the thin crust pizza dough. Guests can even have a seat at the open kitchen and watch the chefs cook.
Culinary adventurers will enjoy taking on Pazza Bistro’s “Inferno Pizza Challenge.” Challengers get 20 minutes and only one cup of water to entirely consume a 12-inch pie dubbed the “hottest pizza in the universe.” At the former Gainesville location, more than 500 daring customers attempted to conquer the fiery feat and less than 5 percent succeeded. Winners of the Challenge receive a free T-shirt, free soda for life, and 10 percent off their food when they come back wearing their T-shirt, as well as their pictures featured on “The Wall of Flame.”
