PINELLAS PARK – Customers of Grow Financial and other banks, who reside in Pinellas Park, should be aware of a phone scam circulating in the area.
Customers may receive a call from an unknown number. The caller advises that the customer’s debit card has been suspended and then will ask for personal information.
Residents who receive a phone call of this type are advised to hang up, contact their local bank branch, and explain the nature of the call.
Pinellas Park police strongly advise against giving personal information to unknown parties over the telephone.
