Rec Center offers photography class SEMINOLE – The Seminole Recreation Division offers a six-week photography class on Wednesdays, Jan. 15 through Feb. 19, 6 to 7:30 p.m. The class takes place at the Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex, 9100 113th St. N.
This introductory class is taught by international photographer Phyllis Stockfish. Learn how to better understand your camera and enhance your photographs through basic techniques and photo assignments.

Rec Center plans day trip SEMINOLE – Join the Seminole Recreation Center for a day trip to see the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the San Jose Sharks Saturday, Jan. 18. The trip leaves from the Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex, 9100 113th St. N., at 12:15 p.m. and will return at 6 p.m. Cost is $52 for members and $57 for nonmembers. Rec Center plans trip to Dalí Museum SEMINOLE – Join the Seminole Recreation Center for a day trip to the Dalí Museum on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to see the Warhol exhibit “Art. Fame. Mortality.” The trip leaves from the Recreation Center, 9100 113th St. N., at 11 a.m. and will return at 4 p.m. Cost is $37 for Recreation Members and $42 for Non Recreation Members; includes transportation, admission and lunch at the Tangerine Restaurant at the Hilton. Children’s martial arts program offered SEMINOLE – The Holland G. Mangum Recreational Complex, 9100 113th St. N., offers a martial arts program for children ages 5 through 12 on Mondays, 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. Master Ryan Dean, a 7th degree black belt Okinawan instructor who teaches at the Dojo Academy in Largo, leads classes.
