SEMINOLE - The 2013 Pow Wow Festival runs Friday through Sunday, March 8-10. Most activities take place at the Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex, 9100 113th St., Seminole.
5 p.m. Festival and midway opens ($20 armbands, unlimited rides) 8 to 11 p.m. Slickside, on stage 11 p.m. Midway closes
Saturday, March 9
7 to 11 a.m. Annual Kiwanis pancake breakfast, presented by the Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast in the Recreation Center auditorium. Admission is $5. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Florida Blood Services blood drive 10 a.m. Tropical Flip-Flop Trot fun run, followed by the annual Festival Parade down 113th Street from the Seminole Mall to the festival grounds. 10 a.m. Midway opens ($20 armbands, unlimited rides) Noon to 2 p.m. Panakolada Steel Drum Band, on stage 2 to 5 p.m. The Outpatients, on stage 5 to 8 p.m. Troy Duncan Band, on stage 8 to 11 p.m. Exit 28, on stage 8:45 p.m. Fireworks spectacular, presented by Eagle Crest Realty/Preferred Trust 11 p.m. Midway closes
Sunday, March 10
11 a.m. Midway opens 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Childrens Extravaganza/Family Fun Day 1 to 3 p.m. Kiwanis Truck Pull competition, presented by the Seminole Kiwanis Club 7 p.m. Midway closes.
