SEMINOLE – The Kiwanis Breakfast Club of Seminole plans its 32nd annual Pancake Day on Saturday, March 9, 7 to 11 a.m., during the city’s 45th annual Pow Wow Festival at the Seminole Recreation Center, 9100 113th St. N.
The breakfast fundraiser will offer all the pancakes you can eat in two different flavors. There will be a choice of toppings served with sausage and beverage (fresh orange juice, coffee, or milk). Harp music will be performed on stage.
The club also will be giving away free books for all ages.
Parking for the event is free and available at the adjacent St. Petersburg College and Seminole library. A golf cart shuttle service from the parking lot to the main entrance will be provided.
Tickets for the breakfast are $5 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 10 years old. There is no charge for children 4 and under.
Tickets can be purchased at First Home Bank in Seminole by contacting Charlene Jasmin at 399-5602, or at the door.
All proceeds will go toward support of the Kiwanis Breakfast Club’s “Just One Book” and “Reading is Fun-damental” programs, as well as other community service projects.
