SEMINOLE – Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Largo men Thursday, March 6, in connection with a stabbing of two residents at a home on Flame Vine Avenue in Seminole.
At about 3 a.m. deputies responded to the home due to reports of two people stabbed in the driveway of their residence.
During the investigation, deputies found out that two men had approached Kenneth Poling, 48, and his sister Kelly, 48, in the driveway of their residence and asked for a ride home. When they refused to provide the ride, the meeting became confrontation, eventually leading to the stabbing of both brother and sister.
Deputies assisted medical personnel as they tended to the victim’s injuries. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies set a perimeter around the immediate area. Pinellas County K-9 and Flight Units provided assistance. The K-9 Unit tracked suspects Anthony Dejesus, 25, and Blaine Martin, 22, who were found a few blocks from the original scene. Deputies arrested the men and transported them to the Pinellas County Jail. Dejesus was charged with two counts of aggravated battery and Martin was charged with accessory after the fact.
