Kiwanis plans annual pancake breakfast

SEMINOLE – The Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast will hold its 29th annual Pancake Day on Saturday, March 13, 7 to 11 a.m., at the Seminole Recreation Center.
The breakfast will include all the pancakes you can eat in four different flavors served with sausage and fresh orange juice, coffee, or milk.
The fundraiser will be held in the auditorium at the Recreation Center during the city’s 42nd annual Pow Wow Festival at 9100 113th St., N.
Tickets for the breakfast are $5 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 10 years old; and no charge for children 4 and under. Tickets can be purchased at First Home Bank in Seminole by contacting Charlene Jasmin at 394-2265, or at the door.
A harpist will provide entertainment. The Kiwanis Club will give away free children’s books.
Free parking is available at the adjacent St. Petersburg College and Seminole library. A golf cart shuttle service from these parking lots to the main entrance will be provided.
Event proceeds will help support the Kiwanis Breakfast Club’s major emphasis project – “Reading is Fun-damental” and many other service projects in Seminole community and Pinellas County.
