Kiwanis offers program on children from Brazil SEMINOLE – The Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast invites you to learn about the plight of street children in Brazil Tuesday, July 7, 7:15 a.m., at the Seminole Family Restaurant, 6864 Seminole Blvd.
David Swoap, co-founder/international board chairman of Hope Unlimited for Children will speak. Swoap was formerly the U.S. Undersecretary of Health and Welfare also serving as California’s Secretary for Health & Human Services. Hope Unlimited for Children is a nonprofit non-denominational ministry.
Meetings are held each Tuesday at 7:15 a.m., and feature informative guest speakers from local business, government and nonprofit organizations on a wide-range of topics.

Breakfast to benefit Alzheimer’s Association SEMINOLE – A pancake breakfast that will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association is planned Saturday, July 11, 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the third-floor dining room of Freedom Square, 10801 Johnson Blvd. In addition to pancakes, the breakfast will include sausage, bacon, muffins and more.
