SEMINOLE – Deputies assigned to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred in the area of Seminole and Baypines boulevards in Seminole.
About 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, a silver sedan was observed driving southbound on Seminole Boulevard. Randy K. Deane, 55, of Largo was driving a Harley Davidson was northbound on Seminole Boulevard. The driver of the silver sedan made a left hand turn on to Baypines Boulevard in front of the Harley Davidson. The motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the silver sedan. The sedan then continued driving down Baypines Boulevard.
Deane was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
