SEMINOLE – City of Seminole Fire Rescue Firemedics Joe Rickman and Seth Morrin recently were recognized as HCA Pinellas County EMS All Stars.
Every year HCA hospitals in Pinellas County recognize EMS service providers that exemplify respect, dignity, honesty, loyalty, integrity, compassion and kindness as they deliver their services to the public.
Rickman responds from Station 30 and, as described by his nominating officer Lieutenant Derek Raymer, exemplifies the professionalism expected of Seminole firemedics. Rickman has also been described as an overachiever with outstanding clinical skills and has good working relationships with all of the emergency room staffs in the area.
Morrin was nominated by his officer Lt. Scott Eddinger and is based out of Station 31. Described as a compassionate medic that treats his patients with dignity and respect, Morrin is relied upon heavily by his crew during stressful incidents to provide the best possible care for his patients. He is also involved with the development of the new electronic patient care reporting system that will implemented soon in Seminole.
The recognitions were awarded to the two firemedics by Bob Conroy, CEO of St. Petersburg General Hospital HCA, during a brief ceremony held in front of Fire Station 29.
