SEMINOLE Candidate qualifying for the March 10 municipal election for two council seats on the Seminole City Council will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m. and end Monday, Dec. 15, 4 p.m.
Qualifications for election to City Council are:
Candidates shall be an elector and a resident of the city for one year prior to qualifying;
Candidates shall submit 40 petitions signed by city electors and pay an election assessment and qualifying fee; or
Pay an election assessment and qualifying fee; and
File all necessary documents, as provided by the City Clerk, during the qualifying period.
