SEMINOLE - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Major Accident Investigation Team responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Seminole Blvd. just south of 54th Avenue about 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov.17.

According to deputies, a pedestrian identified as Timothy DeCamp, 34, of Seminole, reportedly was crossing Seminole Boulevard, east to west, outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Jasmina Woltcheck, 44, of Madeira Beach.

DeCamp was taken to Bayfront Medical Center by ambulance. He suffered very serious injuries and was in critical condition.

Sheriff's M.A.I.T. deputies are investigating. Preliminarily, alcohol does not seem to be a factor, as the investigation continues.
