Elks Club flea market SEMINOLE – Seminole Elks Club Lodge 2519 is having s a flea market on Saturday, Dec. 12, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 10717 Seminole Blvd. Seller tables are available for $20 inside and $10 outside.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Elks National Foundation, a charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. For information, call Debbie Farris at 559-0035 or e-mail dfarris@tampabay.rr.com.
Junior Woman’s Club food drive SEMINOLE – The GWFC Seminole Junior Woman’s Club hosts its 11th annual Share the Spirit food drive to help needy children in area schools. Last year the club supplied over 30 baskets to families. The club will be putting together the food baskets that will be given to the local elementary schools for the children and their families.
The club needs community help with donating from local businesses, social clubs, service clubs, school clubs, and individual families.Those interested should contact the club for a suggested shopping list. Call Michele Abramo at 399-0587 or Patricia Collins at 687-3077.
Businesses that are drop-off points: UPS, 13799 Park Blvd., Seminole; B Squared Automotive, 8478 Seminole Blvd.; Yoga For All, 8812 Seminole Blvd. To ensure timely delivery to the schools, donations are needed no later than Friday, Dec. 11.
Coldwell Banker toy drive SEMINOLE – The Bayou/Bardmoor office of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is a drop site for Toys for Tots. The office is currently accepting donations. New, unwrapped toys may be brought to this office and placed in the Toys for Tots collection bin now through Dec. 14. The Bayou/Bardmoor office is at 10801 Starkey Road, Suite 21, in the Bardmoor Plaza at the corner of Starkey and Bryan Dairy Road. Coldwell Banker is a national sponsor for Toys for Tots.
