Cash lender robbed at gunpoint
Article published on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005
SEMINOLE – Deputies say a man wearing a black cloth over his face held up the AmeriCash store on Seminole Boulevard on Dec. 5, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Sheriff’s spokesman Mac McMullen said the masked man entered the store just before 6 p.m., brandishing a black pistol. He demanded cash from an employee who was inside of a small office. The robber was blocked from the office by a waist-high door, which he locked. That’s when the employee turned over some cash.

The thief put the money into a black cloth bag and fled, running north along Seminole Boulevard.

Anyone with information on this robbery should call Detective Jim Cavagnaro at 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
