TARPON SPRINGS - City of Tarpon Springs sanitation customers are invited to participate in the city’s 2013 fall clean up on Sunday, Oct. 27. This is a free service to residential solid waste sanitation customers only.
City residents may place items such as furniture, mattresses, washers, dryers, ovens, bulky household items, carpet and padding at the curb by 7 a.m. on Sunday for pick up.
The following items will not be picked up: tires, yard waste, propane tanks, air conditioning units, construction materials over 4-foot, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, electronics or chemicals.
Used tires will be accepted if delivered to the City’s yard waste facility at 898 S. Levis Ave. on Friday, Oct. 25, 7a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7 a.m. until noon. Residents must bring a utility bill and drivers’ license in order to drop off tires. Limit four per household.
