With the Christmas season just around the corner, so is the lineup of holiday boat parades scheduled along the Gulf Beaches.
The list goes like this:
The Madeira Beach Festival of Light Christmas Boat Parade is set Saturday, Dec. 9, at dusk, sailing from ROC Park, next to the Madeira Beach Recreation Center, to John’s Pass.
Redington Beach-Indian Shores
The Redington Beach-Indian Shores Holiday Boat Parade will take place Sunday, Dec. 17, 6 p.m., along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Festively decorated boats will meander through the waterway from the Tom Stuart Causeway to the The Pub restaurant in Indian Shores. The event is free and family-friendly.

St. Pete Beach
The St. Pete Beach Boat Parade and Winter Festival in the Park
will be held Friday, Dec. 8 beginning at 6 p.m.
The parade viewing party starts at dusk at Horan Park and includes music, hot chocolate, art projects for children, and a special visit from Santa.
The parade route begins at Blind Pass and weaves south along the Intracoastal Waterway, ending around 39th Avenue. Admission is free.
The 32nd annual Treasure Island Holiday Lighted Boat Parade and Celebration is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 15 at The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway.
The holiday celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. with the boat parade leaving the Club at 6:20 p.m.
Bring one unwrapped new toy or provide a cash donation to the Christmas Toy Shop of Pinellas or The Edward’s Family Foundation to the Recreation Department at City Hall or Treasure Bay Golf and Tennis on Paradise Boulevard by Thursday, Dec. 14 to receive a family pass to watch the parade from a spectacular vantage point, and participate in the events at the club.
Amenities include live entertainment, a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, cash bar and food.
