UF FMNP Instructors Jeanne Murphy & Brian Lane have over 30 years of professional biology and environmental education experience. As the FMNP Instructors in Pinellas County since 2001, they teach all of the adult FMNP courses annually, plus the new Florida Youth Naturalist Program, connecting adults and youths to natural Florida and encouraging personal environmental stewardship.

In addition to course content and field experiences, each graduate receives a certificate. Adult graduates also receive a patch, pin, and are listed on the UF FMNP online database.
