“PJ Masks LIVE!” comes to the Straz Center May 19.

TAMPA — “PJ Masks LIVE!,” a musical show featuring the heroic trio from the animated children’s television series “PJ Masks,” will be presented Sunday, May 19, noon and 3 p.m., in Ferguson Hall, at The Straz Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa.

The show will feature Connor/Catboy, Amaya/Owlette and Greg/Gekko along with their new friend PJ Robot. Together, the team will try to save the day from some sneaky villains, including Romeo, Night Ninja and Luna Girl.

The television series is produced by Entertainment One, Frog Box and TeamTO. The show is based on Romuald Racioppo’s “Les Pyjamasques” book series. In the United States, “PJ Masks” debuted on Disney Junior in 2015.

Since the show first premiered on Disney Junior, “PJ Masks” is now broadcast in over 150 territories and has become a firm favorite with families all around the world. The action-packed adventures of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko continued with a second season rolling out globally throughout 2018 and 2019. The third season kicked off April 19.

With over 700 licensees globally “PJ Masks” continues to soar onto shelves across the globe, with strong sales success across all categories and many stores reporting sell out lines across Just Play’s master toy range.
