In response to your article, I find their arguments regarding noise and disturbance of others to be without merit, since each mayor has anti-noise ordinances. All that is required is for a disturbed individual to call the non-emergency police number and request an officer check out the complaint. If it is valid, it will be handled immediately.

A point I would like to make is most of these Airbnb owners are older, as it takes years to acquire property to rent and most of these owners depend on this income to live as they have no IRAs, 401Ks or retirement plans. Also, the renters bring lots of money to the cities with the intention of spending it and they cost the city nothing.
