CLEARWATER — The monthly household electronics and chemical collection events advertised to take place at the North County Government Center, 29582 U.S. 19 N., were recently relocated due to the start of renovations at the center.

The collection events now take place at nearby Countryside High School, 3000 State Road 580 in Clearwater. North County Government Center operations are not anticipated to be impacted by the exterior-only renovations and will be open during normal business hours.

The construction project is designed to enhance the overall customer experience. Upon completion, residents who drop off their household electronics and chemicals during scheduled events will have a newly paved surface to drive on, allowing for quicker and safer drop-off service.
