SEMINOLE — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives have identified a body found floating in a Seminole pond June 18.
PALM HARBOR — A 76-year-old Palm Harbor woman died from injuries suffered when she was struck by a pickup truck in the parking lot of Walmart, 35404 U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor on June 15.
ST. PETE BEACH — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Don Cesar Hotel, 3400 Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach, about 11:36 a.m. June 14 for a report of what appears to be a grenade found in the bushes on the east side of the hotel property.
DUNEDIN — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 32-year-old Dunedin woman June 12 on two counts of lewd & lascivious molestation of a 15-year-old girl.
TAMPA —A federal jury has found a 33-year-old Pinellas County man guilty of conspiring to manufacture and distribute fentanyl and fentanyl analogue, and money laundering, according to a June 6 announcement by United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez.
MADEIRA BEACH — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies say nothing seems suspicious about the drowning of a 71-year-old St. Petersburg man that occurred about 12:39 p.m. June 8 at the Madeira Beach Access County Park, 14400 Gulf Blvd.
MADERIA BEACH – Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 32-year-old transient from Clearwater June 6 on charges of escape, trespass after warning, drug possession and burglary in Madeira Beach.
OLDSMAR — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives say the deaths of a male and female at a condominium in Oldsmar are an apparent murder-suicide.
A 60-year-old St. Petersburg man is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on a federal charge of possession of unregistered explosive devices. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.
OLDSMAR — A sting at a vacant residence in Oldsmar resulted in 19 suspects with 36 charges, including unlicensed specialty contracting violations, workers compensation fraud and various other criminal charges.
CLEARWATER — Clearwater police charged a 29-year-old Safety Harbor woman with DUI manslaughter and two counts of neglect of a child after a fatality crash that occurred about 5 p.m. June 1 at Ft. Harrison Avenue and Belleview Boulevard.
CLEARWATER — Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify two suspects from a vehicle burglary and credit card fraud case.
ST. PETE BEACH — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the drowning of an 87-year-old man that occurred about 3:23 p.m. May 22 behind a private residence on Belle Vista Drive East, St. Pete Beach.
DUNEDIN — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 62-year-old Dunedin man about 11:48 a.m. May 22 on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

SEMINOLE — Pinellas County Schools police arrested a fourth-grade teacher at Starkey Elementary May 20 after finding she had brought a handgun and two knives to school.
CLEARWATER — Police say an envelope with a suspicious substance found at a Clearwater bank May 20 will be turned over to the FBI for investigation.
DUNEDIN —Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Clearwater residents May 19 in connection with a stabbing that occurred on the Dunedin Causeway, 62 Causeway Boulevard in Dunedin.
CLEARWATER — Pinellas Park police arrested a 69-year-old Clearwater man May 16 on 12 charges of possession of child pornography and one charge of lewd and lascivious molestation.
DUNEDIN — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 46-year-old Dunedin man about 9:33 a.m. May 15 for possession of child pornography.
CLEARWATER — A 19-year-old Clearwater man was transported to a local hospital the morning of May 16 with serious injuries after he crashed his car on U.S. 19 at the Seville Boulevard exit.
PINELLAS PARK — Police arrested a 26-year-old Clearwater woman about 6:55 p.m. May 13 on one charge of leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
LARGO — Largo police arrested a 39-year-old Largo man about 10:12 p.m. May 7 on three charges of attempted murder in the first degree. Police added another charge May 13, murder in the second degree, after Marguerite Williams, 59, died from her injuries.
LARGO — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are alerting residents about a scammer posing as a grandchild in need of help. Since January, detectives have noticed an increase in the Grandparent Scam, which targets elderly residents.
ST. PETERSBURG — A 75-year-old St. Petersburg man was treated and released at a local hospital after his car was rear-ended by a Pinellas County deputy about 9 p.m. May 9 in St. Petersburg.
Pinellas County deputies, in conjunction with police officers from Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Gulfport and the Florida Highway Patrol conducted a DUI Wolf Pack operation from 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4, through 5 a.m., Sunday, May 5.
LARGO — A 33-year-old Clearwater man was transported to Largo Medical Center with life-threatening injuries May 4 after nearly drowning while trying to rescue his dog from the lake at Walsingham Park.
Pinellas County deputies, in conjunction with police officers from Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Gulfport and the Florida Highway Patrol will conduct a DUI Wolf Pack operation from 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4, through 5 a.m., Sunday, May 5.
Florida Highway Patrol says a 22-year-old Largo man who stole a trooper’s cruiser the afternoon of May 2 is in stable condition at a Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee under guard.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH — Two off-duty Philadelphia police officers and one retired Philadelphia police officer spent a few hours in the Pinellas County jail May 1 after they were arrested following a domestic dispute in Indian Rocks Beach.
PINELLAS PARK — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 30-year-old St. Petersburg man May 1 after the vehicle he was driving crashed about 9:49 a.m. at 5361 62nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park.
CLEARWATER — Clearwater police arrested two women about 10:14 p.m. April 30 in connection with a shoplifting case where a store employee was dragged by the getaway car.
CLEARWATER — A 7-year-old boy struck by a car the evening of April 30 is in stable condition at a local hospital, according to the latest information from Clearwater police.
SOUTH PASADENA — A Largo man was transported to a local hospital April 25 with life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a car at the intersection of Gulfport Boulevard and Pasadena Avenue South in South Pasadena.
DUNEDIN — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies went to a residence in Dunedin about 7:19 p.m. April 24 for a follow-up welfare check on a 67-year-old woman. They ended up arresting her caretaker for abuse and neglect. The caretaker also was charged with cruelty to animals.
CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County Sheriff’s detention deputy was arrested and charged with simple battery before he was fired April 23 for kicking an inmate at the jail.
CLEARWATER — Florida Highway Patrol charged a 26-year-old Tampa woman with DUI with serious injuries and leaving the scene with serious injuries in connection with a crash that occurred about 5:28 p.m. April 18 on Ulmerton Road near 49th Street North in Clearwater.
CLEARWATER — A 76-year-old Tarpon Springs man died at a local hospital from injuries he suffered in a crash April 18 on eastbound Gulf to Bay Boulevard at McMullen Booth Road.
LARGO — Police detectives say the person described as a “good Samaritan” was defending himself when he shot a pedestrian in the leg the night of April 7.
PINELLAS PARK — A Pinellas Park man, who critically injured his wife, was shot and killed April 10 after an hours-long standoff with Pinellas Park police.
LEALMAN — A 58-year-old Pinellas Park man died at a local hospital from injuries suffered in an April 10 crash at the intersection of 62nd Avenue North and 25th Street North in Lealman.
ST. PETERSBURG — Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 31-year-old St. Petersburg man April 8 in connection with threats to do violence at his former workplace in Seminole.
