Pinellas County deputies in conjunction with the Florida Highway Patrol and Clearwater and Tarpon Springs police conducted a motorcycle enforcement initiative from 5 p.m. May 1 through 3 a.m. May 2.

The goal of the initiative was to observe and apprehend anyone operating a motor vehicle aggressively or with willful or wanton disregard for the safety of others.

The following are the results from the initiative for motorcycles and automobiles.

Sixteen criminal charges

• One DUI (automobile)

• Four drug violations

• Two driving with license suspended or revoked

• Three fleeing and eluding (motorcycles)

• One reckless driving (motorcycle)

• One carrying a concealed firearm

• One no motorcycle endorsement

• One criminal mischief (motorcycle)

• One resisting an officer without violence (motorcycle)

• One driver’s license restrictions (motorcycle)

Sixty-seven citations

• Three driving with license suspended or revoked

• 42 speeding

• Four careless driving

• One reckless driving (motorcycle)

• Two driver’s license restriction (motorcycles)

• One motorcycle endorsement

• Five other moving violations

• Nine other non-moving violations
